I have seen them live at least 10 times, and they are one of the best live bands in the world. They put on one hell of a show, and then of course there is Neil Peart, the best damn drummer on the planet. If by chance anyone who reads this goes to a show I would love to hear what you think.

Tag I'm It

Thanks Plo for the tag, well here goes,

1. 4 jobs that I have had:

My first real job was working at Burger King, man I made a mean Whopper!!!!, would you like two fries with that shake, if you know what I mean.....

Next would be as a shoe salesman at The Wild Pair in Woodfield Mall, Great gig for teen...

Later on in my 20's I bartended at many places, but my favorite would be Walter Payton's 34's club, mainly because it was amazingly fun and eventually where I ended up meeting my beautiful wife, Colleen.

Today and for the past 11 years I have worked for Frito Lay, I'm the chip guy. I am a route salesman for large accounts, Meijer, Walmart, and Super Target. I am also a trainer for new employees when they start with the company. I have also done Management training, but am still on the fence about becoming one.

2. Four movies I'd watch over and over again:

Field of Dreams - A movie that touches my inner child, it's the father thing, and makes me want to be a better father.

Gone in 60 Seconds - Duh, all those cars, and Angelina Jolie

A Knights Tale - Most movies like this, or has anything to do with King Arthur and Excalibur,
thus my name tag Xcalibur40.

300 - A very well done movie, "THIS IS SPARTA"

3. Four places I have lived: Besides a state of confusion,

Brooklyn,New York - As a child till I was 6.

Chicago, IL - On the North side close to Wrigley Field till I was 11.

Overland Park,KS - A suburb about 30 minutes outside of Kansas City till I was 16.

Huntley, IL - Where I currently live.

4. 4 people who email me daily:

Someone from work

CBS sportsline updates

Viagra salesman, don't need it but thanks anyway

Don't have a fourth

5. 4 favorite things to eat

Pizza - Lou's is my favorite

Col's stuffed manocotti

Baskin Robins Baseball Nut icecream - Vanilla with raspberry and cashew nuts

My mothers Baked Ziti with meatballs and sausage, now just as good by Col.

6. 4 places I would rather be:

On a cruise ship some place warm

On a tropical island some place warm

Europe - mainly Paris, Italy wouldn't be bad either

Las Vegas - It's vegas baby

But mainly they all have to be with my wife, if there was a 5th choice Disney or Universal with the kids, and Harry Potter world when it opens.

7. 4 things I look foward to this year:

Hopefully going on a cruise with Col, and any cool friends who would like to attend.

Warmer weather, Summer

Football season starting again, GO COWBOYS

A trip to Vegas

A little extra note, I look foward to a year of health, happiness, and a little extra cash for me and my family, as well as my friends. A couple of Margaritas along the way wouldn't be to bad either.

8. 4 people I will tag.

I don't really have 4 people, but will work on it

Tony Romo

John Bon Jovi

Chris Daughtry

Janet Jackson - my wife will love that one, lol

Still in Mourning

While I am still recovering from the Cowboy loss last weekend I will make some quick picks for this weekend. First we have San Diego at New England, I like the Pats with the points (14) and the over (47), with all the injuries the Chargers have to key players this should be no contest, (but man it would be nice if the Pats lost). In what will be the second coldest game ever played, we have the Packers taking on the Giants, (HATE THEM). This should prove to be a very close and interresting contest. I do like Green Bay to win, but think the G men will cover (7 1/2), also taking the under (41), in conditions that even a polar bear would rather be inside for. So thats how I see this weekends games "Through My Eyes", even if there still is a tear left in them from the Cowboy loss.

Still Bleeding Cowboy Blue,
Robert

Who's Your Pick?????????

Well here it is one of the best weekends of the year for football lovers, four playoff games in two days. Just for the record, I consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable, fantasy or otherwise, when it comes to this sport. So without any boasting, (hopefully my picks will do that for me) here are my picks. First we have Seattle at Green Bay, I like Seattle with the points (8) and the under (42), but I do like Green Bay to win the game. The later game on Saturday we have Jacksonville at New England, I like Jacksonville and the points (13 1/2) and the over, but New England should win the game, but I want to go on record and call the upset Jacksonville. The first game on Sunday brings us, "My Team" the Cowboys, facing the much hated Giants from New York. Take Dallas and the points (7 1/2) and the over (47) and put a fork in the G men and send them packing. Last we have San Diego at Indy, San Diego should cover (8 1/2) and this game should also go over at (45 1/2), but Indy should win straight up. As for the playing conditions, weather doesn't seem like much of a factor for any of these games according to the extended forecasts, so I anticipate high scoring games with these teams. So those are my picks for the week, like them or not, that's how I see football this week, "Trough My Eyes".

First Thoughts

This is my first attempt at blogging. My wife, Colleen or Col as I call her, just started to blog so I thought it could be something that we both could do and share with each other. Not that we would have the same ideas or topics but just to see where the world of blogging might take us. I have always had many thoughts and ideas about many things , and what better place to post them. My hope is by sharing my thoughts and ideas with other people not only do they learn a little bit about me, but in turn i get to learn a little bit about them.
